Last Judgment is the third studio album by American singer Queen Sapphire. It was released on November 10, 2015, through Lollipop Records. Recording for the project took place throughout the duration the singer's Dancefloor Ball Tour. Following the release of her second studio album Masquerade On the Dancefloor (2015), Queen Sapphire began work on a new studio album, reuniting with Lollipop CEO and record producer James Ford, who worked as co-executive producer on her previous project. Working with a number of collaborators saw Queen Sapphire working with multiple new producers and writers for the project.
Thematically, Last Judgment deals with darker subject matter than Queen Sapphire's previous releases. Musically, it remains within the realm of pop music, exploring other avenues such as more darker-toned pop, and influences of R&B and hip-hop. Last Judgment features a guest appearance by recording artist DeJonay Banks on the sixth track, "Receiver".
"Good Mourning" was serviced as the lead single from Last Judgment on October 27, 2015, and quickly became a critical and commercial success, charting within the top three of each MusicNation chart, including number one on the Billboard Singles Chart. The second single "Receiver" was released on January 26, 2016. and peaked at number four on the Billboard Singles Chart. Sapphire promoted the single worldwide by making several television and media appearances, and later embarked on the Maniac WorldBall Tour in support of the album's release. Upon its release, Last Judgment debuted at number three on the UK Albums Chart, and further charted within the top five of each subsequent Nation chart, becoming the singer's third studio release to achieve this feat.
